- Service, Remanufacture, Repair & Rewinding of all AC, DC & Permanent Magnet Servo Motors, AC High Speed Spindle Motors, Disk/Pancake Motors, Tachometers and Linear Motors

Typical tests and checks carried out on servo motors in our workshop
- On entrance to the workshop, take digital photo
- Carry out testing for – Surge, resistance, insulation and inductance to prove
- Check feed back devices to manufacturers specifications
- Run motor (if possible) check against manufacturers specs
- Check bearing housings and shafts to mechanical tolerances
- Check magnets to manufacturers specs (if required)
- Quote to customer for approval to repair
- After customer approval
- Take Digital Photo of all steps.
- Clean all parts of the motor
- Rewind Stator (if required)
- Carry out repairs to housings, shafts. etc. (if required)
- Replace all bearings and seals (all motors regardless of old bearing and seal conditions)
- Balance rotor to G1 specification “if required” ( all high speed units are balanced)
- Reassemble motor
- Install feed back unit, to manufactures specifications
- Test both statically and dynamically to ensure correct operation
- Set up and calibrate resolvers, tachometers and encoders to correct signal and position
- Set brake to manufacturers holding torque settings. (if applicable)
- Run test to prove motor and feed back unit
- Load Test and report (if required by customer)
- Check motor to manufacturers specs and digital entrance photo
- Paint
- Final inspection and return to customer
